I am a PhD candidate at Caltech in the Department of Computing & Mathematical Sciences. My advisor is John Doyle.
My PhD work aims to develop data-driven control techniques that are founded in biologically plausible design principles. The purpose of this work is two-fold: to develop control techniques that merge the acheivements of robust control with the promise of machine learning, while also building theoretical foundations that help us hypothesize about how nervous systems carry out learning & adaptation in sensorimotor control.
